the only time points really matter is if you have so few that you lose drawing access. So everyone starts with something like 5 or 10 points, but if you have drawings/comments deleted by moderators for breaking rules then you lose points until you go into the negative. I think less than 5 points gives the title of "Unlucky" and negative points gives "Bastard" and is about the same as a ban. I'm not 100% sure I have that all straight though, since it's so rare that I have to do anything like delete a drawing or a comment. There's hardly any rules to break anyways, which seems to work fine.

Points are basically removed on the site, but they're still there underneath. If you used them, can you explain what you used them for? Did they provide additional information about other users, or did you track your own points for any particular reason?

there's still points, they're just not visible and don't matter. So I'd guess that after x number of (now invisible) points your title will still be changed to whatever was set for that point bracket. I think addict was 1000 or more points, master was 5000 or more, etc. But, since that number is essentially meaningless, there's no real reason to display it on a user page anymore. To completely remove the points would require making changes to the 2draw database, and this update is about layout and appearance.

Besides that some people have custom titles, which is why you sometimes see odd titles no one else has. I think I remember something about donating and you get your choice, or maybe that was just a joke. I wasn't really paying attention. Continuing to display the titles even though the points are hidden is probably so people with custom titles can still have theirs show.
