forums2draw.netNeed Help on the Brush Size

Can someone please tell me how I can change my brush to the tiniest setting? I've downloaded the JTablet set-up for my Wacom Intuos Tablet but it looks it's not doing anything for me. I just finished doing my rough sketch in Lascaux and I am now trying to trace it into a new layer, but even on the 1x1 brush, I find that the stroke is still kinda thick and I've tried everything from adjusting the brush space to tracing it in different color but still couldn't figure out the right stroke that I really want. I even looked-up the Wikipedia tools help section for Lascaux and either I can access it anymore or it looks like someone deleted it somehow. If there's a help section here somewhere, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Try playing around with the opacity and flow of the brush. I'd recommend lowering them both.

Thanks Xiau. I'll give it a shot.

shut off antialias, use the hard brush set on 1 and put the flow down about halfway

Thanks davincipoppalag. I'll try to do that when I get back to my roughs.

lascaux manual is here: http://2draw.net/wiki/Lascaux_Sketch

as for thin brush, choose a 1x1 brush, turn anti-alias on, and set the flow to about 30~40. zoom in, too, and you'll get even smoother lines.

Thanks for the tip Marcello. I have no problem accessing the 2draw.net help on the 2draw Wiki. It's when I try to go to the Lascaux Sketch/Brush Toolbox section is where I get no information. This is what I get: http://2draw.net/wiki/Lascaux_Sketch/Brush_Toolbox. It looks like somebody has moved it away or I don't know if it's my XP browser or what, but can I ask if you're the person who created this ingenious drawing program? Maybe you can direct me to a better site that definitely has a good insight into the program or specifically, a real info re the actual tools. I would really appreciate that. BTW, this by far, is the best excellent site for every artist alike. I can't wait for my chance to be able to try and make some helpful monetary donations.

Curious, not sure why the page was bugging out. It should be fixed up and working now.

I did create the program. There is no other documentation on Lascaux, but the wiki article does provide a good wealth of information. It is all user-contributed (as well as a few bits and pieces I've injected), so if you discover anything new, feel free to add it to the wiki.
