Contest Week 74: Ninja vs Pirates

Really, who cares about ninja? No one over 12, that's who. Also butt pirates for some odd reason. So these next couple of weeks the two of them are going to bore the crap out of you. With death.

I think anyone who grew up with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (like me, because all that matters is what I like) or went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland over and over (also me, because I'm a spoiled brat) can relate to this theme, so don't think it'll be too hard to make your own ninja or pirate character... I mean, if you're like me.

The rules:
-Your drawing must have either a ninja, a pirate, or both, but does not have to have both. A drawing of just one of the two is lame too.

-I want you to make up your own ninja/pirate character rather than to draw a character from a cartoon. It's not required but it'd be good to write a brief description of your character too.

-Contest Week 74 will be open for entries for roughly 2 long weeks starting from now until Saturday, March 29, at 11:59pm PST. That's the end of the day on Saturday for people in the US.

Sorry the subject matter for this contest sucks but....meh, whatever.

My sentiments exactly, Dan!! I will definately be bowing out of this contest for sure.

The fact is I'm running out of ideas. I'm trying not to redo ideas because guess what- you had a little fit when I even came close to that with the paradise contest. I have a text document list of all the past contest themes that I look through to make sure the next one hasn't been done, but each time I look it's harder to find something I want to do that isn't already on the list.

If you would like to suggest a theme instead of urinating on my ideas every now and then (this is the third time you've done this axil) you're welcome to do so. The same goes for anyone else who would like to suggest a theme, cameo.

How about a contest on combining a figure/figures with uncommon textures (one or more)? For example, say the torso will be a sandpaper type texture, while the arms and legs will look liquified using a water texture. Just an idea anyway.

To be honest, I'm not much into pirates or ninjas either, but that's not the point. There are probably people here who DO like pirates and ninjas, and I'm sure there are enough people in the community who can at least use a little creativity to come up with something original on the idea. To call anyone who likes ninjas a 12 year old is interesting, especially coming from someone who has recently drawn a 'fart banana'. Maybe you can use the same creative energy you put into that piece to create something for this contest. As far as I know, the topic is rather flexible.
