Hello,
I am having some not nice bumps along the road here. I revised my "On the other side" picture and spent another hour and eleven minutes on it to finish it off. As i submited it, after 5 or so minutes it gave me an error "IO Error: Server returned HTTP responce code: 500 for URL: http://www.cellosoft.com/2draw.net/get lascaux/" so i tried again..and it gave error again, then i refreshed the page and went on to revise the picture..luckely it did, and i tried to submit it one more time, but was unsuccessful. Unfortunately by closing browser i lost the finishing work. I still have the previous (unfinished) version of it, and i did take a screenshot of it also, because i had this situation already once before, with some other picture, into which i put 4 hours, for unfortunately nothing :(. Did anyone had this error already? I am sorry if i am posting this again, i just couldn't go searching through thousands of posts. Anyone has a solution for this? Thanks in advance |

Not sure what caused this, but thank you for the note, we'll keep an eye on it. It is definitely an error on the server, and not your computer (500 is an internal server error code, though that doesn't tell us much as to what caused the problem). Does submitting work now that you've restarted your browser?
If you send me the screenshot, I can put it on your image (you will need to submit a blank version for me to replace with the screenshot). |

Thank you for reply. I just drew another 5 mins on it and submited it, which worked, but then i got this "You cannot revise this entry because you've reached your 3mb entry space limit on this board. You can request a moderator to grant you extra space for this image." About the screenshot, do i delete my original picture ( i mean delete layers that the page is clear)?

no, don't delete the original picture, just submit an identical version and I'll replace it with the screenshot (which you still need to send me)

I just got this same damn error message. Cello can it be fixed before I send a screen shot because I have a small monitor and had to break it up into two pieces and fit them together. I'm afraid it's going to be all pixilly. If you can't then I'll send a screen shot. But damn I'm pissed. Howz canz I sends screenshot?
Just thought of something else. If I press f11 to widen my screen will I get a better screen shot of the whole picture? |

not sure what's causing this. it's possible the server doesn't have enough memory to handle the larger images.
if you float the applet you can make it larger. F11 only increases the browser size, but when the applet is floating, there is no browser at all. You could also increase the resolution on your computer (assuming your screen supports it). In any case, your best bet is to take your screenshots at 100%, and if it doesn't all fit, use multiple pieces. you guys are just pushing lascaux beyond what it was originally designed for. ;-) |
