man, you're so good at this scratchy texture-y stuff...

aside from the lovely intricate design on the face, I couldn't stop staring at the stone on the forehead. nicely done. I think I might consider actually wearing a mask this Halloween. hehe ('cause I usually don't like to wear one).

Nicely done Starz. You've been hitting a lot out there. One thing and it's minor but the ribbon trim around the mask looks like it's floating. If there was just a sight dark around it it would look like it was part of the mask more. I love the jewel. Opal? My fave stone if it is.

Hey Starz - the sheen on the gold satin is just TOO real! the fringing, the bell, the embroidery on the face - all amazing.

Terry......I can't believe I missed commenting on this. I have looked at it so many times and I guess I was so engrossed in all of the detailing I thought I had commented. I love the whole draw, but my favorite part about it is the one piece of cording that comes down from the bell. I can't quit staring at it. It looks like you could reach right out and take it from the picture, seeing the side of it and the perfect details you have put into it. Wow! Masterpiece is quite the understatement for this. Mardi gras memorabilia has always taken me aback, and this would be a perfect addtion to all that I already have.
