Woohoo! I'm a volunteer for the Amateur Radio Emergency Services. I get to chase these things - basically, I'm a storm spotter on my own time. It's a blast most of the time, though every now and again it gets scary. Thankfully I live in florida, so we get a lot of hail / rain, but not tornadoes unless they're up in north county.
OOO very cool gel-o you are definitely getting the hang of the applets, love the colors and the intensity! very cool. Now I am going to have bad dreams, tvm. lol, seriously I have horrible tornado dreams, lol, thanks to my dad who used to scare the bejesus out of us as kids every time there was bad weather, he was scared to death of storms I think, and left us with that fear, nice guy, lol, now I'll have to stay up all night, drawing...oh ya I was gonna do that anyways, :D
Very good, effective, and scary. I too, don't like storms Once when I was in Eldorado, Kansas there was four of these on the ground at the same time. So of course being a person that is a afraid of storms, did the only thing a person could do in a situation like this! I bent over and kissed my ass goodbye. HA HA NICE PIC.
Aha! There you are...traitor....LOL A little birdie has told me where some of you have been hiding. I went to starz and fouond you and jpjp. I see your work is still stupendous. Not sure if I am going to try this place, I havn't a clue what an applet even is tee hee.
Hi, gel-o! I missed your awesomeness (is that a word?) so I came here and found you and Gillie and Starz ... Gerry's hiding here somewhere, too, right? I need to get caught up ;)
Hi Gel-o....love this twister, wow. The coloring and formation to it is awesome...great drawing. I'm one of those when I hear of a tornado warning that is outside looking for it, where, where? However, I'd be the first to run for cover when I seen it crap'n my pants...lol.
