I used to take lots of photos of the sky, more so than of anything else, and I have some that look a lot like this. Because this is such a large scale, the dramatic effect of the obscured light source has all the more impact. Completely at random, this reminds me of some of the backgrounds from final fantasy 6.

Congratulations on second! This has a very painterly look to it which I find hard to do myself. What most draws my eye is the great brightness of the light you managed to achieve. Nice!! =)
