It's neat when planes make these eddies in the air, shows how powerful they are. Great way to capture it Elly. Very unique for the contest.

this is way cool. But, I thought Shanghai said to not use a ref? It's superb nonetheless though.

I think it says refs are okay, but it'd be nice to just look out of the window too.

Although, INSTEAD of using an online reference, this would be a good contest to just look out a window and draw what you see.

The way the sky looks is strangely calm, considering that we know (about) how fast that plane is going and how much power it has to move the air like that. This is really nice because it's more than just a flat image. There's a prompting for us to imagine the speed and power of the airplane that we know must be there based on the effect we see it causing.
