Never drawn on the comp before but i've been working very hard on this. i dont know if this will ever get finished because i'm terrified of the black line stage o.O. Yes she will have hair, i'm just not sure what style yet.
Any comments, critiques, advice? (just please dont break me o.O)
"Working very hard" is correct. For comments, I think this is uberly good for someone who has never drawn on a computer before. I praise you for putting 10 hours of effort into this. For critiques, the ear looks slightly misplaced. Perhaps it's too far back. For advice, I'd say that the cleanest 'black line stage' was done in water colors. (Make sure you don't forget to put the black line stage in the foreground. I don't want your picture to blow for a simple mistake like that.)
*Freaks* I...LOVE...RASPUTINA! Okay, had to get that out of my system. Your picture's looking great, sweet lineart...can't wait to see what you do with it and how you interpreted the song...yeah.

eep good advice certainly, ill keep all that in mind. These insane shipainter tools are facinating and very intimidating. Not really sure what watercolour lining stuff is all about, is there any tutorial on it somewhere i could possibly read?

this is my third or fourth attempt at black lining this o.o. My third one erased itself and i'm still not sure how, but! nevertheless, here it is. Going to fix her mouth and stuff, just wanted to get something down. Still not sure with hair.
holy fruitsalads batman! This was hard for me to do, hard indeed. I fiddled a bagillion times with the corset colours, but fell back on my all time favourite colour. C&C? What do you think about the greens to the right of her head as hair colours? Might just stick with black though..

ooh awesome. you kick my ass with your first attempt. course you are insane for spending like a day on one piece. now theres commitment.. id have given up long ago if i was having trouble. though i've no idea about the colors. none at all. im useless with picking colors.
Welp, first one finished. I wanted to make a 'lil smudgy background but layers was giving me problems. Regardless, i think it turned out fairly ok, though me and the hair arent speaking to each other. I should have shaded the face, but again, layers.
ooh nice. like the shading on the neck. (though someone stole the colors.. >_>)
im assuming your talking about the white not cooperating.. you can put the bg on and erase it when youre done in places like the eye and the arm.. poof.. things.. lol.
