Here's my try at a city entry =) Don't know if this follows the guide lines but I hope so =) The liquid swirl is a photo ref I saved from a mag and no ref for the city sky line. It was fun! =)

i like this so much! looks like liquid gold..i like how the buildings on the right seem to be caught up in the swirly motion. really nice piece.

although i think the contest is more about the city and in this picture the swirl takes the cake.

It was a bit tough in the beginning, PS. I kept getting "lost" in the swirl..LOL. Once I was happy with placement, the rest went great! Thanks for all your comments y'all! =)

Gosh, I had no idea this took 2nd place! That shows ya how long I've been away.....again =( Hard to draw when you've got a sick child needing you every waking, and sleeping, hour of the day! Course then we ended up taking him to the hospital where we spent all day yesterday watching the drip, drip, drip of the IV pumping fluids in! All is well now tho.....thanks for the 2nd place!! Whooo hooo!
