I am just curious as to why after I finished and submitted my picture that it was blurry . And even after I saved it to my personal pictures folder it was still blurry. Is there a way around this or is that just how the images appear here?

what picture are you referring to?
I don't see any blurry pictures.

The one I jsut finished seems blurry to me, kinda like it's been compressed. And I have one in the unfinished hidden category that also seems that way. That's the only way I can seem to explain it.
p.s. i really like it here. the people are very nice and seem very receptive to new people. You don't get that everywhere. It's a good thing you got goin on.

are you using any kind of weird web compression/speed up proxy thing?
images are compressed, but at a very high quality, so unless you are zooming in very closely, you shouldn't notice anything.
can you post a screenshot of what it looks like on your screen? (you can upload to a site like www.tinypic.com)

Yep, that definitely looks like the results of some kind of web compression/speed up proxy. as I don't get that blocking when I view the image on my screen. My guess? netzero is doing it. They're probably advertising the feature as "high speed" or similar bullshit. You could try using firefox. That might help. Or look into netzero's settings to disable that crap, if they let you.
In any case, you probably get the same issue on other sites, and it's certainly not 2draw's fault.

Thank you for taking a look. I'll see what I can do on this end, I do have high speed with netzero and I did'nt think about it but i bet you're right. I usually draw at neondragonart, but my pictures always come out clear. I'm gonna see if i can rectify this problem. Thanks.

Oh thank you Anna. I plan on finishing it really soon. Thank you marcello for your help. I called and had the high speed removed from my service and then deleted it from my programs. Came back here and revised my image and resubmitted it and it is as clear as a bell now. So I am off to work on it in just a bit. thanks again. I really do like this place. i feel like I can fit in and improve my art here.
