Read the rules.
I find it quite annoying when i have to edit 5+ comments in a row for the same exact problem, and then find a few minutes another 5+ comments with the exact same issue. Now i realise that that person may not see the changes right away, but hopefully you will take the time to look at your Studio@2draw and go through your point history to see any comments posted by the moderators. |

Oh, so you did swing by. Marcello said you would. Er, might. Whatever.
And you actually did get me to read the rules, which has got to be a first. They're well done; short, sweet, and to the point. Not like some art sites, such as Elfwood. Dear gods, have they gone off the deep end of the rules cliff. May other people see this post and read the rules. And remember, critiquing is not saying 'this sucks'. Or anything of the like. |

Sometimes a comment about the suckage of a piece is inevitable though, especially when one gets tomatoes thrown at oneself for a half-assed spammed drawing. Try not to let this happen to you. Really. Read the rules. Like VisceralVamp has.

Top. Skip the following paragraph for the idiot version. If you're just incredibly dense, then skip to the third paragraph.
Read the god damn rules. I don't care if you're a newbie or not, or even if you think you already know the rules. Read. Do not make 5 minutes worth of crap for us to see. 5 Minutes isn't even probably 5% of your drawing abilities. I know that you know how to color, draw even a tree in the background, and erase any un-needed marks. Are you here to show off time or show your skill? Idiot Version: I'm assuming you were too lazy to click on 'Read the Rules'. So, I'll just say, make your drawings worth viewing. Spend a good amount of time on each drawing. Color, shade, fix, make background. Put a good amount of effort into your work. If you can't do that, then don't press send. If you think you can fix your extremely crappy picture later, label it unfinished and hidden. For the incredibly dense: Put AT LEAST 15 minutes worth of effort into your work. God dammit. P.S. I would have topped Mazi's thread, but that one seemed to be directed to only n00bs. I'm talking to everyone. P.P.S. I'm not a moderator, I'm just a pissed netizen. |
