Deftones - Xerces

This was a favorite song of mine from the Deftones. Never knew what Xerces meant. Until today. Not really sure if song relates to this extinct butterfly. ( ref used. Sorry for lack of detail. Still need to figure out how to use app well )

You did a good job making it's wings irridescent. So sad this pretty flutterbye's extinct. *big sigh*

Yikes! Iridescent eh? I did not mean for the wings to be iridescent at all. Because the real butterfly does not have iridescent wings. :( Those line streaks were supposed to be veins/bones/cracks etc.

That song always makes me so sad, I love it though, probably my favorite from that album. This is an interesting piece, simple but pretty.
