why can't I select any of my previous art when I want to move a section when I revise an image?? I'm so confused =/

I haven't a clue what you're talking about. Can you give me a rundown of the steps you took (like what tool you clicked, what you did) to get the error, and what exactly the error is, so I can understand and possibly reproduce it? Or possibly tell you what you're doing wrong.

alright: I tried to revise my Phantom picture, and I wanted to move the mask up a little bit, but when I selected the select tool and I clicked on the picture, no box showed up when I dragged the mouse...so I couldn't move anything. I tried reloading the computer and everything, but that didn't help, and I deselected and selected sections but that didn't work either. help, I'm baffled

When you used the select tool... Was the mask outlined?
