Contest Week 54: Retired Superhero's *Two Week Contest.

Decided to lighten things up so your goal these next two weeks is to draw what you think would happen to Superhero's after they've reached a certain age and retired. What happened to Superman? Is Batman taking rides in his Batmobile for the hell of it? What's up with Spiderman? Make it serious or fun or as wacky as you'd like. It doesn't have to just be Hero's from Western comics. Any Anime character as well, provided you have a link and description of that character. Just make sure to mention who the Hero is. Good luck, and do not copy from other artists work.

Contest Week 53 will be open for entries from Sunday June 10th, to, Saturday June 23rd, 11:59 AM PST.

*1st Prize:* You may choose a T-shirt from Oddica's website. Each shirt comes with postcards, stickers, a backpack button and a collectible library card.

Creativity: The amount of imagination, originality and expressiveness that was put into the entry.
Technique & Effort: The amount of style, skill and craft that was put into the entry.
Following the Theme: How well the entry followed the theme of the contest.

Superman is dead. :( Batman is finally wildly, happily doing Catwoman somewhere in a dark, damp underground room that doesn't need heavy drapes... because it's a cave, and not a sleazy hotel room, you know. As for Spiderman, I don't know. I was forced to go to the movies last night, so my husband and son went to see what Spiderman was doing, I went to see Mr. Brooks instead. ;)

edit: I do always wonder what happened to Underdog and Mighty Mouse, though. THOSE were superheroes.

Underdog or Mighty Mouse, maybe... but probably not. As for Batman and Catwoman, they're prolly putting the Kama Sutra to shame, and I certainly don't have the time or the energy to paint THAT. :D

That's the whole point of the contest, to show what Supe's or Bat's has been up to (although I thik Cindy's covered some of that.) Would they be n their suits Cindy? :D

Batman and Catwoman? NO WAY, no suits. I was only eight years old when I became aware that they wanted to do each other... I watched till I was like 10, I became totally frustrated and got bored... same thing with Jeannie and Major Nelson. (not in the superhero category, but anyway) LOL

I like this idea. I have something in mind.

Seriously people draw, up until now there weren't enough people to place from first to third. This idea is too good to pass up.

If I had enough space in my studio I would draw spiderman who catch flies for dinner :)
