I hate cranky people that act old and tell me to turn the stereo down. I'm a big girl, I don't HAVE TO. Get some ear plugs.

ok, so every time i let myself get talked into going to the movies, i wish i hadn't. a couple of months ago my husband and son and i went, and when i started to feel homicidal because some fat chick was rattling a twelve dollar bag of styrofoam packing peanuts soaked in dyed 'butter flavored' grease and some boy was kicking the back of my seat while his mother gossiped to the stupid woman next to her and the seat started to make my skin feel 'crawley'...i got up and went out [the back door, not the front] and i did the thing i always do... i pulled an emory board out of my purse to hold the door open where i could get back in, and while i'm standing there in a deserted dangerous looking spot behind the movie theater with the giant huge Texas sun at eye level and blinding me, I turned around to face the wall and this is what i saw... and i thought... hmmm... i should go get my camera out of my truck and take a picture of that, it's kind of cool looking.... so i did, and this is it. i tried to make funny animal hand things but it was too hard to do while smoking and holding the camera. i spent most of my time during this movie outside, not because i'm a smoker, but because stuff in the alleys and in the field interested me more than the stupid movie, as usual

whiskey bottles, and brand new cars, oak tree, you're in my way

i love it

I want to get into your mind, it would be fascinating. Until you know our minds started merging then we'd end up feeling like an American Texan that likes to surf while wishing it was snowing on the ocean so the Candian Canuck can slide down the wave. It'd get confusing after awhile.

Beauty Cindy, I would have asked that woman to get her kid to stop, then probably change seats. Brat, needs a kick in the rear.

I like letting my mind wander and look halfhazard at the walls or creases in my clothes or fabric or anything really because then I see the most interesting shapes and faces. Or scribbling madly on a piece of paper and finding hidden images in the scribbles.

me too, I see faces in everything.. the trees, the little rug in the bathroom, everything.. cool pic Cindy.. very close to that free style you say you'd like to be able to do

interesting, Sweet, I actually hear that a lot, from people I spend a great deal of time talking to on occassion...lots of people have encouraged me to think about writing a book... i'm not sure what i'd call it... 'Chasing Rabbits', maybe.. getting into my mind, though... might be an 'nice place to visit'... but you probably wouldn't want to live here. =]

I have always done that thing where you look at ordinary objects with patterns... material, tree bark, rocks, and find images there. HEY...that scribbling and finding hidden images... when I was in about the second grade, I had a teacher that doodled a simple design on a piece of paper, a different one for each of us, and passed them out and had us make a complete picture out of it. I always thought it would be a fun thing to do at 2 draw... I thought maybe we could use the collab board, leaving it open to anyone who wanted to join... first person doing the scribble and then each person doing their own layer to make the scribble into a a picture [each subsequent person would make the previous person's layer invisible and do their own thing with the scribble, of course]. The different interpretations could be really interesting. Anyway, i always thought that would be fun to do here.

that's what my father used to do for me :) he'd make all these sections on a piece of paper before he left for work... each section had a little scribble in it and he'd tell me to make each one into a picture before he got home from work that day :) I used to LOVE that.

ok, so i'll start something, then, if ya'll want to do it. i guess if i start it on the collab board... is it automatically open to any collaborators, or do i have to add people
lori (May 25, 2007)
I think you'll have to add who you want
davincipoppalag (May 25, 2007)
You guys are fun to read.
lori (May 25, 2007)
so glad we could entertain you ;)
I imagine if we ever get together in person, you'll never shut us up
davincipoppalag (May 25, 2007)
:0).....I like reading what you guys did as kids....memories are fun
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 27, 2007)
i bet we wouldn't talk quite as much as you think, Lori... when other people are around... I more picture us as making eye contact... knowing what the other is thinking, rolling our eyes simultaneously and giggling alot. =]
Aubrey (May 27, 2007)
Sorry you didnt enjoy the movie, but if ya hadn't have gone we never would have gotten to see this would we? Very noice.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 27, 2007)
