This finished up great! The glow in the instruments is about perfect..this is about the best thing I've see you do giselle!
Aubrey (May 16, 2007)
For sure, and that's a pretty place around you.
PolythenePam (May 16, 2007)
thanks

It's just outside the town of Geraldine, near Mt. Cook, a nice part of the country.
PS (May 16, 2007)
Nice details, I like it.

What a cool idea for a picture. WAIT!!! The steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car, and NEVERMIND ABOUT THAT.... we're on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!! :D (Yeah, I know, we're not in Kansas anymore) This is coming along great.
Ziggyhbp (May 16, 2007)
best one so far in my opinion...

Wow, great finish. What's really bugging me is that rigged windscreen frame at the top though. It's too detached from the rest of the awesome painting.

Lol @ Cindy.
lori (May 16, 2007)
this came out FABULOUS!
PolythenePam (May 17, 2007)
thanks everyone!

HK: rigged windscreen? Hmmm. what do you mean? I'd like to fix it.
Miss_DJ (May 22, 2007)

Takes me back to some of our drives through the country (except on the opposite side of the road). Great View!!!

Congratulations PolythenePan, "Sunday Sunrise" is awarded first place for Contest Week 52: Perspective. This picture perfectly illustrates how perspective can be used in a picture. You truly get a sense of depth and distance in this piece in the way it was composed. Using the car dashboard in the foreground as a focal point, the eyes are tricked into believing the mountains, trees and houses are far off in the distance. And you even get a sense of depth in the car itself with the crafty use of the mirror showing a portion of the back window. It's quite the pretty piece as well.
