I know....I'm sure this has been done a hundred times around here but I thought I'd give it a shot. I used a ref stock photo for the raw egg but I didn't like the shell it had. It looked to "set up" for what I was after. Like they very carefully cracked the egg completely in half and then washed and dried them before placing them neatly next to the raw egg. No thanks. So, I added these shell pieces instead. Had to rely on my memory and minds eye cuz I couldn't find a ref pic I liked!! This was fun though. =)
BTW, I thought the egg was appropriate this time of year....Happy Easter! =D
Yeah, the ref photo lacked depth at the bottom too but when I tried to add more highlights, it threw it way out of balance! So....I left it true to the ref, except for the shells =) Good observation!

the only thing about yours is the dribbles at the bottom lack depth.

Is it strange the first thought I had was picking up the yolk, throwing it in a bowl with some other ingredients and making a mousse?
