you always have the coolest drawings... I'll look for the finished version
Roytje (Mar 17, 2007)
This is amazing. I love the style.
R. (Mar 19, 2007)
Thanks, all. It still needs a little work. Hope to get back to it sometime soon.

Am I the only one that sees a baby bear peeking in version .1, and sniffing in version .2?

I like the intricate, ambiguous detailing.
R. (Mar 22, 2007)
You see a bear within the man? Or do you see the man as a bear?
Kloxboy (Mar 22, 2007)
This is a great drawing, with an awesome title. No one else draws like this on 2Draw, it's all you R.
Alter.Native (Mar 22, 2007)
Freudian undertones put aside, I see a distinctly clear image of that lovable animal within that other adorable one.
R. (edited Mar 22, 2007)
Thanks, Klox.
Nikki - The bearscape is in the manscape's nose, right?
Sweetcell (Mar 22, 2007)
Agreed with Klox, you do these best. How's the book coming?

beautiful R.
R. (Mar 22, 2007)
Thanks, Zep.
Sweetcell - The book is now scheduled for launch in April. My publisher is currently at the Paris Book Fair, trying to sell the rights...I hope. I'll send a memo to all my commentators once the book is out.
Roytje (Mar 25, 2007)
Is it a Dutch or English book?
I can see so much things in it, fantastic :D
R. (Mar 26, 2007)
It's in English, Roy. But a Dutch publisher has expressed a clear interest. It also contains five drawings, which are the same in any language.
Roytje (Mar 26, 2007)
I'm curious! Please memo me when it's published :) Will the English book be available in The Netherlands?
R. (Mar 26, 2007)
NL will be the main secondary market because that's where I live and have my network. You'll be able to order the book online and it will be mailed to you. The whole marketing plan seems to be coming together now and the response from the bookshops has been excellent. It's as if I'm locked in the cloakroom, waiting for the big game to begin.
