One of the keys to drawing good anatomy is to use solid construction. Draw the skeleton out (in simplified view ofcourse).
Drawing the spine, polygonal shapes for the rib cage and pelvis are all very important.

Critiques aside, this is pretty good considering the fact that you didn't use any construction. =)
Oh, and don't forget to use reference.
