WeeeeYOWWWWWWW. This will continue to be an absolutely stunning painting with a really effective, mind blowing application of color long after that feeling goes away... or the song stops playing, whichever comes first. I'm not sure how you got this palette to work, but boy, does it work.
I know, I know!!!! I was trying to think of what the background reminded me of... it's when there's a really still section of a pond of water, and the sun is shining on it just right, and there's this very light shimmery opalescent film with all these colors in it, kind of like on a pearl. (sorry, I blurted that out here just like I would have in person if I was trying to remember something)
Gorrvy babey, nice realistic touch. The hand seems a little off though. I think where the index finger ends you should see more of the hand, not less. Fantastic really.
