You know the thing I hated the most about being 11.... you're first starting to get boobs, and as if you weren't sore already... as soon as they crop up you get a female PE teacher with a mustache that makes you do lots of jumping jacks. You're only 4 so you wouldn't know about that yet.
I'm neither 4, nor a she. I've got an outie instead of an innie. I made this nick back in the day when I was playing a lot of video games, and thought it would be amusing to be killed by someone called "Suzy, Age 4". You know, like how the little kids in kindergarten and preschool sign their crayon drawings. Now I use it on most forums that a frequent, and here as well.
We all knew you were some kind of perverted old guy, why do you think we're commenting? (just kidding..... ummm??? are we?) hah No, really and truly I thought you were some gifted 4 year old girl named suzy that needed immediate therapy.
I have this perfect "innie" that I am almost as proud of as my pretty feet.
I wasn't calling you old (not for real... we all know you're only 4.) HEY, Senshi... are you calling me dumb? Because, because, if you are... I'll... ummm... I'lll...*trails off*.... ok. Did I not come here to do art or something originally? I'll... go draw something, YEAH, that's what I'll do. Take THAT!
The other girls, 1-9, were drawn on other oekaki boards over the last year and a half. 4-9 are on my deviantart page. 1-3 are mia, i think on my drive somewhere. I don't really like how most of them turned out, but it's all just a learning experience.
I think her face looks a little too smooth, making it look unrealistic. everything else is fantastic though
I see what you mean, and i agree. The problem is i'm not sure how to go about fixing it. I'd like to add a small amount of noise, or maybe a very very subtle noise-like texture, i'm concerned it'll end up throwing everything off. I kinda feel like the face is held together with bubblegum and luck, and if i sneeze it'll throw everything out of whack. This is one of those hard parts i've been procrastinating on. But, the original pic has a very subtle amount noise that the pores on her face create, but it's very faint. I could just add blemishes to try to make it look more realistic, but there's very few in the ref photo that I could use. The photo was probably photoshopped a bit before it found its way to me. I'll try to mess with it and see if I can get something going that looks both nice and not overpowering. Thanks for the critique, it's very helpful.
everything is so smooth... it looks airbrushed, like a painting on a really fast car.... the upper hand is especially good, I wish I could draw like this- and Im 46!
OMG! I am in Shock and Awe! I wish I had your talent! Then again, 14 hours is way too much for me to spend on one drawing. This drawing is so awesome, I wish I had a poster of this.

Interesting story though. I'll have to pay more attention in PE. Heheh...
She has a bit of raw talent, whatever age she is.
"outie instead of an innie"?

This is so full of graceful femininity... turning out beautifully.

I'm really digging the shading on the wrists / hands and the expressiveness of the eyes. Good reference pic?
