A lot of spam has been plaguing the other boards used for those who care about their work. These images should be in the practice board, that's why it's there people. I'm not pointing fingures but those of you who do half way jobs please limit them to the practice board. Many others, including my self, are having our images that we're working hard on are getting pushed far back into the depths of the boards where no one cares to look. It's not right and it's not fair. I'm sure Marcello would agree with me on this as well as other members. Thanx.

Well, yes, and I agree with you, but a lot of people don't necessarily know that they are spamming. the '15 minutes minimum' rule is pretty relative, so if someone spends 30 minutes on a picture, they might assume that it is worthy of submitting JUST because it took them longer than it had to to stay inside the board rules. EDIT: oh, and, as brutal as this sounds, a picture rating system would be a wonderful way to kill spam, and spam-like 'not-spam'.

I agree with both of you. Is that whw most pics get deleted? Oh and I think the other reason is some people might just want to get high up on the ranks. Hnnn I dunno about your idea tho Turtlebuster.

Sorry, but ratings just do not work. Not only is there no guarantee that the person is even qualified to rate a piece, but ratings are not always truthful (someone may be sucking up or may have a vendetta against the artist) and are completely subjective.
Plus I really am disgusted when I see a rating that does not even match the comment. For instance, seeing a comment like "This is not very good, nice try" with a rating of 5 out of 5 stars or something. All reasons against having a rating system. While the rating thing may help for one problem, I think it introduces alot more problems in general. |

In short summary, on 2draw v2, getting enough pictures deleted automatically locks your account. It's more complicated than that, but for spam prevention, this should work.

Will there be an automatic deletion for any pictures under a certain time limit (dependant on the boards it's drawn in)? I guess a traditional rating would fail... Also, will there be an Archive boards for the occasional picture that has both unusual ability and creativity? I've always liked lookng through the 'best pictures' on websites that allow it.

There will not be any automatic deletion, but hopefully a new force of moderators. Accepting applications now.
And there will be 'the showcase' which is essentially what you're saying. |

Archives will be a great addition! As for the matter about pictures getting pushed down I have to agree. It's very annoying. Rating would be hard and I agree with method3. I know some people may dislike me a little, and that may prove to be a very big problem ratings-wise.

this is a stupid question, but what if you delete your own pics? Does it still count? Or does someone else have to delete?

if it's a stupid question, don't ask it.
