It looks nice! Yet, it's not realism at all... looks between anime and cartoon to me. But good nonetheless :)
Realism is basically copying from reality - try to look at a photo next time to get started ;D

@yuohoo: Realism is drawing the way things are, generally with references. What you're talking about are traditional medias - watercolors, oils, pencils and so on :)
