beautiful start! I would say don't be afraid to make things a little sharper, if you want to. When you add texture to the front rocks, for example, that will automatically make them look closer. I'm sure others will have ever better suggestions...it's lovely so far!
this time, you can ask a moderator for more space. next time, you can keep it UNFINISHED/HIDDEN and then add more to it easily next time you draw on it.
Miss DJ=ok... thank u very much.. i think i'm just going to move on anyway. it's not real important to me, more practice than anything. I'll make sure to post it as Hidden next time.
Ask Marcello, or Maiko, or Zack, or Visceral Vamp for space. Always remember to say please. They like that. :)
Is that yellow part of the sky or a cliff? If it's a cliff you should darken the bottom edges and let it get lighter as you get to the top. If it's part of the sky you should try to blend it in with the blue. More highlights on the clouds so they don't look like they're being lost in the background. And sharpen things up a bit. If your using blur I recommend you stop, blur can ruin images if used too heavily. Maybe make the sand less orange and more yellow, somewhat the color of the background sky/cliff. You've got a great start.
