I think this is magnificent. The translucent greens and those clouds...yummy .... but the cris cross pattern on the dark shore in the lower right kinda screws it up for me.

I had never seen a good painting of crashing waves here until this one. This is better than good, it's nearly perfect. Makes me want to walk into it. (and I surely would, were I there, wherever this is)

I've been messing around with many differents kinds of subject matter and I guess this one's a hit! DBA, You, of all people, can not tell me you've never seen a good painting of crashing waves til this one on this site! Get outta here!!!! Oh, this is a scene South of Santa Barbara. I've never been there, it's from the reference I was using. I have to add that I added much more light detail than Anton did in his! Thanks again everyone! Lets see if I can top this one!
This is the best ocean scene I've seen on this site by my standards. I've been waiting for someone to draw ocean spray, crashing waves and amazing light and you've done it. This is gorgeous.
Maybe I should do another one....well, I actually did do another one before this one but it didn't have much impact. Probably because it was done in all pastel, girly colors...LOL.
