This is SO beautiful. I just got back from the Shambhala Mountain center in Fort Collins, CO. The 20-foot tall golden Buddha residing in the Stupa there is spectacular. Your drawing just reminded me of how overwhelmed and peaceful I felt at the same time sitting at the foot of it. ;)

This is very warm, but it's cool, too.
cianteed2 (Sep 8, 2006)
I was immediately drawn to the eyes.... then i stared... actually it was difficult to look away.
sincity (Sep 8, 2006)
why does this remind me of some other artwork? Like a virgin mary pic or some other Madonna ( not the singer) painting. I like it very much. :}

Boy...you sure make an entrance when ya pop up...Yea Mike.. I see that too, i think it's the sort of sad looking eyes and the smoothness of the face

great work mazi, really stands out.
fleeting_memory (Sep 9, 2006)
whoa-I love that it fills the whole canvas. Makes me think of molten gold.
Sweetcell (Sep 9, 2006)
Absolutely beautiful. When Fleeting said molten gold the story of Midas popped in my head and I pictured this as his wife just after he touched her. Has a meloncholy feel to it.
Ruggi (Sep 12, 2006)
Wow I love the glow of this... and the look has some buddha-like serenity. Very pretty!
