I think adding some deeper shadows in the hair would make it look much better. By deeper shadows I mean add darker shadows to the hair that's further behind other hair. It would give it more depth.
Aside from that, though, it's very cute, and I really love how you drew the curls.

I've been art whoring on gaia since '03, and with coloring like that I believe your art could sell for a hefty sum. But I suppose 6k would be good to start out with, to see how it sits with the consumers. P:
