| | Tai_Chi (Jul 27, 2006) Whenever I try to use Oekaki Shi Painter for my Anime Art, it always turns out horribly wrong, while everyone elses looks amazing. Something seems to go wrong when I use it, can someone please teach me? | |||
| | Hakkai (Jul 27, 2006) Err.. from the looks of your user board, you only use Lascaux Sketch. The only tip I can provide for you is usign the pen tool rather than the pencil tool. Play around with it and see what you can figure out from it. | |||
| | Tai_Chi (Jul 27, 2006) I was hoping to get a comment from you, you're probably the best Anime painter I've ever seen. I will try and once I have finished, I'll put it up here. | |||
| | xiau (Jul 27, 2006) For lineart you can use the pen tool and then fix the lines with the soft eraser, or use the airbrush on a higher opacity if you're patient enough. When it comes to coloring, pen is good for putting down the base colors, and using a mix of tools for the shading is a good idea. Just experiment with it and see what seems to suit you best. | |||
|   | Tai_Chi (Jul 27, 2006)  Is it possible to use layers on it? | |||
| | xiau (Jul 27, 2006) Of course! All of the applets have layers. | |||
|   | squee (Jul 27, 2006)  thought bbs doesn't have enough layers. | |||
