How sweet Backstabbed. i could never keep turtles. They didn't seem to like captivity. This one's an Eastern Box Turtle. One came to visit me for lunch and then left. Strange little guys. I think it would be great to paint race car stripes and numbers on one of these guys and race them.

I think they DO have turtle races somewhere, although I have never been to one. Too fast-paced for me. hah

That's cute, to think some people eat these things. Although tortise shell is beautiful.
