eh, I have few friends, only 2 boyfriends in my life, one who cheated on me. Almost everybody says my art is horrible except the little midgets that come up and stare wide-eyed ' did you draw that?'. I don't really think this place helps me any more than the real world. I have only one friend who really cares about me, and that's about it. My other friends care, but not really. Still put me down. I've been slapped in the face by my ex boyfriend twice. There is no real hope for me.

Most people are just trying to help you. It takes so much practice in order to get things right, so you have to be pretty dedicated, and listen to the criticism that others give. Use a picture for reference if you need to. Also, you may want to try experimenting with the other applets. Personally, I prefer ShiPainter. (And I can't draw animals for crap. XD;; )

You should buy some anatomy books on horses and try drawing using photographic referances. Practice makes perfect.

I don't know you very well, and obviously you're upset, but perhaps you're taking peoples' good intentions the wrong way. No one's telling you to look at anatomy/references to be cruel--it's how everybody learns. Trying to draw from memory and drawing from sight are two very different things. Master drawing from sight before you try to draw from memory... and even then it's best to have references. But really, before anyone can you help you, you have to help yourself--mostly by changing your attitude. This whole thing just reeks of pity-party, whether or not that was your intention.

No, not my attention. Wasn't cheating on him. I was in deep depression for two years and then got together with another guy for less than a month. I have an anatomy book or so, and try drawing from them. I've used those step by step craps and they do nothing for me. I've been trying, but, I just don't think that I can becasue I have no self esteem and everybody just says its my problem and to get over it. I guess I should, but don't know how because I see everything badly. The glass is half empty in my world.

You're only 11, but you have a lot of growing up to do. It doesn't sound to me as though you have bad self-esteem--it sounds like you're the kind of person who uses pity to fish for compliments and pampering and praising. You need to know something about the real world, though, if you're going to interact with people on the internet: no one cares about your drama in real life here, or how you were depressed, or how you've only had two boyfriends. Everyone has problems. You're creating your own by repeatedly telling yourself that you have no self esteem and that your life is so bad--in reality, life is what you make of it. And FYI, I don't think many people on here are going to buy into 9 year olds going into severe depression; that's a load of bullshit. I don't care what kinds of medications you're taking; everyone in America seems to think they're depressed and in need of zoloft or whatever.

I know, it probably seems huge to you, in fact, to you it is huge, but trust me, you're ok. Things change quickly, up down up down....it's ok. But like CommaQueen said, not a good idea to do that stuff here, we'll just rip you a new one. We don't know you like say..a sister or brother. For the most part were removed from your reality via the internet, and you from ours. So our reactions won't be based on true concern or love. Know what I mean jelly bean? Just hang out, draw, spend too much time on the phone talking to you know who about you know what and be an 11 year old kid. Before you know it you'll be wishing you were one again.

I'm a piece of shit that doesn't care about anybody but herself, I understand. Told a million times. Told five million. I'll go head and do what I've done most of my life. I agree with lots of u guys,you are taking people to seriously or you dont understand that people are giving u suggestions on referances and such...I think u should stay and practice.Thats just my opinion though.
