Great picture. So is this Japanese band well known in the States because I never heard of him or his band since I came here and saw pictures of him, and I'm up on most of the rock bands out there new and old.

Sweetcell - Um.. I think you might be thinking about Dir en grey? hide (and X Japan.. which was the band he was in. As well as 'hide with Spread Beaver') aren't REALLY well known in the States. X Japan disbanded nine years ago and hide died eight years ago.

Thank you for answering psychoteddy. I wasn't thinking about any particular band, like I said I haven't heard of any Japanese band, they have a hard time breaking into this market. So he was the lead singer in Japan is what your saying? Too bad about his death. Seems he lived the rock and roll life of excess like so many before him.

Sweetcell: He was the guitarist ^_^ Toshi was the vocalist... Pata and hide on guitars. Yoshiki on drums and piano. Taiji (and, later on, Heath) on bass. I would say 'Check out my website if you want to known more 'cause that's got more than you ever wanted to know about hide' @_@ But my site's still closed until these icky exams are over XD
