Wow! I really like the action in this! The way you've tilted the planes makes them look like they're really in a dog fight and are frantically maneuvering in an attempt to shoot the other down. The pose on that gunner rocks, he's really hammering away on that machine gun! :)
and for a bit of criticism: Although the flak looks really cool (and really adds to the action/pace of the dogfight), wouldn't the AA gunners below be a bit worried that they might their own planes? :0
Great illustration of flight, fight, motion, and emotion in the whole thing. Wonderful. It looks hard as heck to do. Tsk. You should illustrate WW1 books.
