I have been looking at windmills all my life, but I never realized till painting this how interesting the design really is... it's simplistic, but complicated in a way - really a cool thing. Too bad they are slowly disappearing.

(I never would have had the patience to do this in the old Lascaux, the line tool working well makes alot of things possible now)

oh I love the shine on the 'blades' if that's what they're called on a windmill-I know that's what they're called on fans :-/..... anyway they look awesome! :)

I really like the mood in this one. Almost strikes me as a calm that could stem from the stillnes of a ghost town.

I feel like I am watching an old western and the camera is getting ready to pan down to a gun fight as that old eerie music plays
