That's right. You thought it wouldn't happen. Hell, I thought it wouldn't happen.
A new version of Lascaux Sketch is finally out! Version 0.70 was released a few days ago with an all new antialias system for really smooth brushes. Version 0.71 goes on to fix some bugs such as not being able to use selections when revising, and potentially fixes the 'brush stops working' problem. Though no guarantees on the last one, that's an elusive nemesis. Will there be more? Who knows. Enjoy! |

I nearly always use anti alias now, so that's going to help.

Forgot to mention, antialias works with pressure, flow, and large brushes of any type, now.

Woo. Another reason for me not to do any coursework tomorrow! :P
EDIT: I had to use Safari to get Lascaux to work before but I just installed the new firefox and it loads the applet fine in Firefox now. It's really smooth compared to what it was like. Not sure if it's because of the updates with Lascaux or with the updates with Firefox but it's made a lot of difference. :D |

Im having a blast just playing with the line tools and not getting that jig/jaggedy thing that used to happen. Son.....thing is slicker'n eel shit now. You did a great job at revamping it. I needed better toys. :)

And Cindy..these toys don't need batteries...heheh (omg did I say that?) heheh I don't know..but I'm finding it a tad buggy , at least for me. Antialias seems to have a mind of it's own and alternately turns on and off all by itself. When I go to switch from antialias to blend , it often won't work at all, and I have to turn things off and on a couple of times to get it working again. Anyone else seeing this?
