Do you use photo references for these pictures, or are they completely from your imagination?

Aside from this and a select few, anything you see that is 'non-turtle' is probably my own. i don't have enough experience drawing most other animals to know how to even begin.

wow thats really good. really detailed shading..

and to make the two layers the top layer, switch to the top layer and theres a tool layer-something-or-other.. it should be the same button as copy, just click it a few times.. then select the whole thing with that tool and it should all be on the top layer. *hopes that made sense*
