That purple is bizarre. My guess is that it's due to quantization error in the compression. See, it compresses the red, green, and blue channels to different degrees because the human eye is more sensitive to green than any other color. So I'm guessing some weird compression issue is causing the "ghost colors". In other words, nothing that you can do to prevent it.

The .PNG file has the same problem, so my guess is that it's an issue with Shi-Painter's automatic built in compression. If you had drawn this in Lascaux this problem probably wouldn't happen.

Very cool composition. I like the way you work in greyscale, it's like you're sculpting clay. One little crit: the ear looks a bit detached.

I just watched the animation and the purple doesn't show up there.
Perhaps if I did some minor editing to the area where the purple is showing it might take care of it.
if not Maybe I can pass off the purple colour as her aura.

I see what you mean about the ear, that whole side still needs some work so I'm hoping I can still take care of it without messing it up

It's a bug in shi-painter. It uses lossy compression to make the png files before sending them. So you're seeing the artifacts of that lossy compression.

I like the color, it looks like a faint wash of alizarin crimson paint. If it were mine I'd just go back and add it in other places, as well.

i think that shade would look nice on the shoulder, cheeks, and brow bones.

You've been doing some great stuff, Kejoco...heh, bald is interestingly pleasing to look at on your works.

I really like this and your last piece "Fear"......I don't think the purple hurts the piece, I don't think it stands out until it was pointed out. If you try and can't make it go away, I like DBA's idea, add it in other areas.

bald people rule. I don't mean they rule nations or anything that big, well maybe some do but I mean in general they probably don't. Unless the people behind the scenes that really control everything are bald. But what I meant was more on a smaller scale that they rule, you know like, more in general. But then it may not be that gray of an area, maybe a bald guy could rule and actual area, like a neighborhood or something. And then he'd be all "Hey, you can't walk there man... and give me five dollars." He'd probably hang out at 7-11.
