i shall be an olympic figure skater next time the olympics come around. now. where can i find information on where they hold the beginners ice skating classes?

hehe. anyone else take turns wishing they were gymnasts/figure skaters during the olympics?

but really, i swear i'm looking into skating lessons as we speak. that way when i take my beginner art classes this summer, i can do the homework for those while i soak my bleeding feet in hot water after coming back from the rink. i got it allllll worked out. sweet.

They should take all the Olympic people and make them fight to the death.
I would love to see this.
I would say the guy with the javelin would have the best chance, but the skaters could put there skates on there hands.
Am I the only one who thinks this is a good idea???

not at all, but the bi-athalon people would win. hit and run tactics. and the whole... shotgun thing. but on one note, i think we should reinstitute gladiator matches. i would so become famous.

What about the guy that throws the big ball???
If he finds some rocks he could have a good chance.

If i were in the olympics, i would do curling! Or bobsledding! Those are the two coolest things ive ever seen. What I like about curling is the guy who actually throws the rock. Not the sweepers. And Bobsledding... I mean come on, its super fast sledding... need i say more?

That's pretty cool. When I was younger I wanted to be a hockey player, I wanted to play for the NHL. I think if you have the time and the ambition, determination, etc., it would be an excellent experience.

I'm pretty surprised you didn't make a career out of your talent, Axil; though, it is quite nice that we get to see it here.

Hockey is a great sport. It's very difficult to get into for obvious reasons. Money for gear, learning curve for skating, stick handling, and the fact that you can't just go out in your backyard and play hockey anytime you want....unless you're from Canada.

I thought i would love ice skating, but sometime ago i tried it out for a bit, and well, i suxors, not to mention i got knocked over and absolutely smashed my head, so i gave up after that.
Oh, and yeah, because it's expensive.

I'm joining staci in that sport (I have the rocks if you've got the time). I am always pissed that they don't show more of the archery. I think surfing should be made an olympic sport, as well.

I tried ice skating at the Galleria in Houston a few times, and I ended up with a busted, frozen ass.

My favorite winter olympic sport is speed skating.
