I'm having a bit of a problem with the lascaux applet. It's not loading up my image when I click on revise. It used to work, but recently it hasn't been working. I tried resetting my cookies, using another browser, and restarting the compy.

Help will be much appreciated.

Mine does that from time to time, also. What seems to work most of the time is, once you open the applet after hitting revise, then hit refresh screen...now here's the tricky part.. when that box opens up that says would you like to restore your last image..I hit the NO button ..and the picture loads... I don't know why..do a test picture.. see if it's the same for you. You're supposed to be able to hit the Yes button..go figure.

Sometimes it just takes time for it to come up.

Is this happening on a specific picture or for any picture?

And yeah, be sure to click "no" when it asks if you want to restore your last image. The "last image" it's referring to is the image that was last open when you used Lascaux and closed the browser window, or hit the back button on your browser. Thus, if that last image was blank, clicking "yes" will restore a blank canvas. Clicking "no" ensures you always load the latest saved revision.

If that doesn't help, and your problem is happening on any picture you try to revise, I'd recommend reinstalling Java. http://www.java.com/en/
