I remember as an old cubscout craft, we would get a christmas ornament and take the top off, then pour different clored paints in. Then we would close it and shake it around, and it would come out like that.

this is really interesting. The orb has a wet/clear/almost metalic look o it, yet I cant really put my finger on why. Very thoght provokingly paintes, Dave.

Very nicely drawn, I did a painted body once and found that to be quite difficult. The clean up of the model afterward was quite fun though and well worth the hassle.
