Considering the people that are on 2draw, I would not be surprised to learn that many of them know of a card game called Magic: The Gathering. However, I am sure that many of you are in fact, not nerds, and have no idea what it is.

Contest Week 8:
Well, its a card game where you have a creature and it has an illustration of it on the upper half. It has abilities on the bottom half, and then some kind of text. You use them to play a game of strategy, but in this contest, we will use it to test your creativity and graphical arts skills. You have to make it look like a card with a border and the frames, but you can play with the dimensions, card shape, and design.

While looking for a suitable picture to show the way magic cards are laid out, I found that other people design their own cards as well. But they don't look like they draw them, they just steal images from the web. Anyway, draw it. Here are examples of a fake card that looks about right. Magic Card
Sidenote, I made this hilarious magic card of the butt monkey and I laughed a lot about it. But it lost it when I tried to save, so I put a regular image up there instead, because it isn't fun to make it all over again.

The contest will run from 12/8 6PM PST to 12/17 11:59 PST
