Ugh. This has happened before. I don't know what the problem is, and I don't really know how I fixed it last time. Every so often my java feels like dying and doesn't work. It acts like it's loading, and then there is a little x at the top of the applet. There is a little java icon at the bottom right of my screen by the time, so it's up... and I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. If you have any suggestions, comments, or know what to do, please help.

I get this problem sometimes when I use a mac, using Firefox and any applet. Not sure what the deal is... the only alternative to that seems to be Safari.

i lost about an hour's worth of work on an edit today because of a java error of some kind. frustrating. back to work.
