Well alot of people have been getting angry over alot of meaningless/done out of boredom yaoi pics. So, I thought I'd post other sites where people who want to draw yaoi can go and, well, draw it. That way they don't have to do it here and everyone be happy! ^.^

This is a site where you can post yaoi art you have drawn using any medium. Pencil, paper, paint, oekaki (though they do not have an onsite program), etc. If you are very young I suggest you think about actually going here long and hard, some of the content is pretty...well let's just say shota (look up the def.), vore, and a lot of iffy things are allowed here.

Oooor... the immature people who whine about the yaoi can stop looking at it. :3 It's not that hard to scroll over a picture that you don't like. face the fact that people are going to draw what they want, when they want. I think the problem that is getting on everyone's nerves is the fact that the little kiddies who [should] know NOTHING of sex are drawing it (horribly).

I mean, honestly. Newbie art grates my nerves to no end, but you don't see me whining on every quality-lacking picture.

I'm not into that kind of art, but everyone has a right to express themselves. Believe me, I don't get that kind of art, but if you look at it with an open mind..... ahhhh forget it. I went through the link site and saw some interesting pics. Bottom line, you do realize art that causes controversy always gets the most attention.

under 13's drawing anykind of extreme sexual pictures be it male/female, male/male or female/female, just seems wrong to me. Sure people have the right to draw watever they want, but for people of such a young age to draw and browse at such images just doesnt seem right in any way, nothing wrong with curiosity or a cry 4 attension, just seems like more of an obsession for some..

There is a big difference between annoying and just plain rude and nasty...and nekochibi is rude and nasty...I have two kids..so annoying I can handle...rude and nasty I cannot...and if i am so blatantly attacked again with no provocation then i shall again respond in kind....and i am not well known for being all that nice..or even remotely nice for that matter....

I think the person who said "people should be allowed to draw what they like" is right. someone might be offended at a nude picture of a woman/man or a sexual reference but that's why we rate it 18+ isn't it?

How does this thread keep getting revived? Has the yaoi/yuri/obscenity debate even been an issue lately?
This thread was created 5 years ago. A lot of the original posters aren't even really around anymore, and in that in that time span, it's also likely their view on the matter has changed. For instance, mine; I was an ignorant 12-year-old when I originally posted, because again, this thread is ancient. People should indeed draw whatever they want to draw.

But since it doesn't seem to be a problem at the moment, I think it's best not to stir things up with a thread like this. And if it does become relevant again, it would be best to start a new thread that isn't cluttered with the past opinions of people who aren't even around to argue about it.

For now, let's just draw and have a nice time together instead! c:
