help. how does this look for an old mans face?
anything off or should be added?
any advice/ critique would be very appreciated.

The older you get, in general, the less fatty tissue you have in your lips, they tend to become "less full" and not so smooth. The eye is a tad too elongated and should have a skin fold going slightly more vertical at the outside corner. I wish the face didn't go off the page, I like some of the wrinkle lines, the ones you shaped and tinned out. I realize this isn't done so take what I said with a grain of salt.

your input is valuable. thank you tons.
i shouldve known about the lips, and the eyes... damn, i always notice that (how the lay over the eye).
ill def move the face over and shorten the eye.

Basically, I think the colors work well together, and it has an abstractness to it that makes me reluctant to critique the technical details of it, but if you wanted him to look older, the only thing I see that Axil might not have mentioned would be some lines in the forehead area? Other than that and the things he suggested, I think it works really well just as it is.

Marcus the question I'd ask is what has this man seen in his life? What is he fearing now? Wrinkles often answer those questions. Older men also have alot of hair...something about the nose seems far too youthful...can't put my finger on it. I have faith in you. Your work always ends up looking good, because of you're style, and look how many comments you've recieved thus far!

Wow...very new. The nose is much more soft...for me much more the way I'd think of an elderly person. Beautiful, and taken for granted. The change in head position and overall expression has me so curious to what your and "their" thought process now is...what are the fears marcus?
I'm also glad to see your cookie cook icon.

Oh yeah, why blue?
davincipoppalag (Nov 20, 2005)
This looks better now marcus..it does look like a more tired, older face .

I love the shine you put on. The tautness of the skin over the cheeks, chin, nose and lips is a great contrast to the wrinkled, dry look of the rest of the skin. It emphasizes the sagginess elsewhere.
