Not to be a jerk about the background, cause it is good, but the light in the back against the light grey hairs on the main character seem to blend into one another. Maybe you can choose another color to make some sort of contrast? If you wanted to think a bit artistically, you could use a dark blue to compliment the orange on the main character while it also almost acts as black which would compliment the light grey or what we could almost call white.

yeah I didn't notice that big blotch of white. I think it'd be better if the background just got darker towards the center.

I think the gray hair of the character is nice, don't change it. I'm not sure how i could change the background to fit though...

Noremac-I was talking about HunterKiller's background work. Nothing needs to be changed on the characters themselves as far as I can see, but I thought working in a darker opening to the forest, behind the main character, would help make the focus of the picture pop out (the characters).

HunterKiller-Assuming that white in the back isn't colored in 'white' (in other words, just the trasparency of the layer), I could see what I can do with it...

Wouldn't be weird to have a dark opening though? Should it be just a darker gray, or something else? Blue with some wisps of gray clouds?

oh.. now i see. so we could actually do a really pale green or blue instead of white, give it more atmosphere and actually make a bit of sense. :D (not that white doesnt make sense)

i liked hunters first go to be honest. but light behind the central character didnt really work because her hair and ears are a light tone themselves. if you wanted to show sky maybe sporatic bits of it through the trees but not around her head?

i unno, ill work on it tomarrow again. the picture hsa a lot of things i want to change, so it will be gradual.
Derrick, some people thought it was supposed to be fire, and said i couldnt draw fire well. some people thought it was a spiky club. i unno, some people lack vision :D

wow, that is REALLY GOOD really i've been working on this rpg i made and i envey that background.
