well, everyone was doing themselves in gorillaz style... so I decided that I should jump on the bandwagon. this is such a hard style for me to work in. =___= so I don't think I did too well... but it was fun. ^__^ ((I'm calling it finished because I'm too lazy to actually finish it.))

if you're going to draw in that style, draw in the style, dont try to slightly alter anime -_-
JESSI (Nov 5, 2005)
shouldnt they draw the way they want to ??
Gigandas (edited Nov 5, 2005)
hide-Isn't that kinda like if someone attempted realism and the best they could manage was a cartoon version of whatever they were trying to draw? Try not to be such an ass please :P...

but EVERYONE has tried to draw gorillaz pictures and they look like anime. Also I just really dont like how the gorillaz are so popular with kids now because of their new single, when they got no attention with their first cd. I. cant. help. it. I just dont like people like that :p

i wish my hair did that cool flippy thing ^_^

hide: gosh you are lame. you dont like people that what? enjoy good music? discover a kickass group? buy a cd or are exposed to a genre of music that they otherwise might not be attracted to because a really great single happens to be in the top 40 right now? boo.
monkey_says (Nov 6, 2005)
my hair actually does do a flippy kind of thing. even when I try to attack it with a straightener. I've got a permanent retro look, which is actually pretty fun. ^__^

hide --> what are you, the artistic style nazi? maybe the reason why most of these gorillaz pictures look a lot like anime is because... *shock* the style IS a lot like anime... additionally, the gorillaz are popular because their music is innovative and their approach is unprecedented. and because they're just plain good. go figure.

haha, my hair does the flippy thing too, and whenever I attack it with a straightener, it Just end up burning my neck or something +_+;
