Um.. I don't see any black dots at all..just white ones in the lines.. and black squares...???

you must have goo eyes davin
cuz some of the white dots should change to gray or black when you dont look at them head on

the dots on mine turn grey
i guess the white dots on mine are not big enough
and my gray part should be darker
dave you dont see the black dots on the link i put?

Umm..I agree with Davinci..there is only white dots to me, black squares, and grey lines. I don't see this as an illusion, what is it supposed to be?

The dots you look at directly are white. The ones you see out of the corner of your eye are grey. As you move your eyes to focus on the grey dots, they all seem to change to white.

I've always loved this illusion. You did a great job on it :D
I don't see how anyone can NOT see it... Every time I see it I see those little black dots. It amazes me how this thing works :D

I guess some just can't see it. I've looked at this every way but upside down, and all I see are the white. I guess on my planet our visible spectrum varies because of the three suns and all that purple water.

I have seen this before. But I can't see black dots on this one. just white ones disappearing.

i cant get them to show as dark as i want them too but you are seeing what you need to you have not missed any thing
maby i will change the name to "where did the white dots go" :)
