This may be a bit premature, but I am thinking about hosting a paintchat for a couple hours weekly if possible. At the moment, the only real way that the 2draw community interacts is through posts here on 2draw or memos, and lately it hasn't been exactly kosher. Things are getting stale. I think putting people together in a paintchat session is good therapy.

Therefore, if this appeals to you in some fashion, maybe some coordination would be ideal. Post some of the times that you would be (in general) available to submit yourself to a session. Take care that you will have to put things in relation to where you live, ie east coast/wests coast time, etc.

Times which would be amenable to myself would be in the afternoons towards night during Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays. As for being anymore specific, I think it'd be best to simply set up a few hours when I know for sure I can host things on my computer.

*Edit* Silly me, I should say that the times I mentioned above would be in relation to Mountain US Time.

That'd be nifty. The chat room on here doesn't work, and a paint chat would be even better.
I'd like to try it out... I could probably go to any session except on Saturdays and maybe not Fridays.

my schedule says I'm open tuesday and thursday, afternoon MST to night, and then friday through sunday most of the day on each day. Monday and Wednesday my Japanese teacher (from Japan) and my web design teacher (from Serbia, two strong accents right after each other gives me a regular headache those days) take up most of my day. Saterdays and Sundays would probably be the most open for most people I would think. The only thing that'd keep me from being available, in most cases, would be a school project or something.

That's one sad drawing applet. Nowhere near as cool as paintchat.

True its crap but its still a good exsample of what real time drawing chats are like. even if the tools on this one sux those who don't know what they are. That is like an exsample.

i'm usually free most of the time..art college on tuesdays n' wednesdays usually keeps me busy then...(doesnt seem to stop me drawing here too tho lol)

sounds like a cool idea... I'm usually free during weekdays, almost never at night, though.

I got it set up and all, I'll try it today/tomorrow with Marcello to make sure the connection works and isn't laggy or anything. Play around/test I will plan for tomorrow Friday at say... 3pm until whenever (Mountain US time) and hopefully we can work out on the artist limit. We can go for a "formal" session on Saturday at 3pm-5pm or later depending (I can probably leave it on if I leave the house). I think afterwards we can arrange for the animation to be put up here somewhere where other people can see it.
