I've never tried painting leaves, but I'd imagine they'd be tough. I love the cat, everything about it. The eyes stand out so well, and I really like the soft hints of shading on the back, tail, and in the ears.

When i first looked at your drawing I thought it was great and the cat was on a bed of flower petals heh so just tell people its petals ;) it can be our secret.
