I'd like to know how to shade pics better and make them look half normal... here is my one I'm working on if you wanna help me shade it please? <a href="http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/48309/">click here</a>

1) use layers
2) use a base color, a lighter shade, a darker shade, highlights, shadows and reflections.
3) when you have your basic colors layed out, start blending them together. when theyre blended you can use something with a low opacity like an airbrush tool (i use shi-painter, im not sure about lascaux) to smooth out anything thats kinda weird looking.


if youre still stuck ask more questions, look at animations of other peoples drawings and check out the thread on the forums about drawing tutorials.

Since people have been helping me so much lately, i should give some of it back.
Will do a Shi-Painter animation on a good and simple shading technique.
